A Fresh Alternative to the Usual Dessert Table
Most parties end up with the same dessert spread — sheet cake, cookies, and candy that blur together from one celebration to the next. Tanghulu is the opposite of expected: whole fresh fruit — strawberries, grapes, mandarin, blueberries — finished in a thin crystal shell with a signature snap. Celebration catering is quoted as a complete package based on guest count, service format, date, and location — no surprises. As a reference, delivery catering for 50 guests starts around $250. What makes tanghulu a good party dessert?
It's fresh, colorful, and unlike anything else on the dessert table — fun to eat and made to share. Because our everyday skewers are naturally vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free, one dessert works for a guest list of every age, and it's genuinely photogenic, which makes it a natural centerpiece for any celebration.
How far in advance should we book?
The earlier the better — dates fill quickly, especially around Lunar New Year in February, May through September, and the November–December holiday window. As a minimum, delivery and staffed service book about one to two weeks out and the Live Tanghulu Experience at least two weeks (three or more for over 500 guests).
Can you handle a large guest list?
Yes — from intimate family gatherings to celebrations of 1,000 guests and beyond. We scale the program to your guest count while keeping the presentation fresh and the service seamless.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions across the guest list?
Our core tanghulu is naturally vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free — one of the most inclusive dessert options for a mixed guest list. For specific allergen requirements beyond our standard lineup, email hello@oliviastanghulu.com and we'll guide you through the options.
Can you customize the colors or theme?
